About the project

Now in its 10th year, the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research is a two-day cycling event that raises vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute.

Since the first Ride in 2011, riders and their supporters have helped bring world-class scientists to Perth, funded unique cancer investigations, and high-tech equipment to Western Australia to fast-track research outcomes.

We’ve been the production company of choice for the last three years to showcase this hugely successful event. With our coverage spanning hundreds of kilometres the team captured the true essence of the ride and delivered a highly emotional and motivational piece.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Achieved Goals

We formed a team of 12 camera operators that would gather shots independently and as a collective team during different aspects of the two-day event. We used multiple drones, 360 cameras, still cameras, time-lapse cameras and ground video to provide the client with a finished product that showcased the event in an incredibly dynamic and professional production.
